The winner of any hurdle race after declaration of weights id tarry a 101b penalty. in the Hurdle Race, and for every addition b! race 71ba penalty extra, Nominations for all events, except Maiden Hack Hurdles and Maiden Hack Race (first day), and Electric Hack (second day), close with the Secretary at Foxton on Monday, January sth, 1903, at 9 p.m. Weights for first day's races will be declared on or about January 10th, 1903. Acceptances for first day's races close on Thursday, January 15th, 1903, at 9 p.m. | Entries for Maiden Hack Hurdle and Maiden Hack Race (first day), and Electric Hack Race (second day), olose Thursday, January 16th, 1903, at 9 p.m. Weights for second day's races will be declared on Thubsday, January 22,1903, at 8 p.m. Acceptances close same evening at 9.30. Definition of a Hack .— A Hack means a horse that has not at date of nominations won a race ot the value of 80 soys, or races or the collective value of 200 soys Bince Ist August 3.899, and has never won an advertised race exceeding the net sum or value of 40 soys (Hack and Hunter races excepted.) Every.entry must state the name or sumed name of the owner or owners, and the name, age and pedigree and description of. the horse, together with the colours of the rider. The advertised fee must in every case accompany nominations and acceptances. All races to be run under the " Bules of Racing.' No betting allowed on the course, exce through the medium of the totalisator. The Committee reserve the right to alter any of the above dates. All stakes paid iv fall. J. R. WHYTE, Secretary. .
