An individual suddenly handed the Grand Duke Nicholas of Russia, near Shipka Pass, where he went in connee* tion with the opening of the Memorial Church, a petition representing tha Macedonian Committee, prating the Czar to intervene and secure the amelioration of the condition of the Bulgarians.
