CPress Associatio_iA Dunedin, Angus. 28. ihe criminal sittings of tha Supreme Court oper.ed this morning, ihe Grand Jury returned true bills in all cases. Herman Booth, for larceny at Milton, was sentenced to three months' imprisonment. Con. O Bnen was convicted of forgery,, sentence being deferred. William Buchanan, for breaking and enteringand stealing from the George street' school, was sentenced to three years' hard labour. Nine • months' hard labour was the sentence passed on Lachlan Campbell for stealing a watch and chain.
