Death of Sir Robert Douglas.
Per Press Association. Wanganui, this day. Sir Robert Douglas, Eart., died I early this morning from cancer, at Mr Astforfch's l'esidence, whei'e he had been on a visit for several weeks past. The deceased gentleman came to the colony as a captain m the 57th regiment, and sat m the Hst parliament 1 as number for Marsden.
