Feb. 27,

The steamship Ruapehu, Captain Crutchley, arrived to«day from London, via Hobart, after a passage of 45 days 15 hours, out of which there were 81 hours for detentiouat Teneriffe and Hobart. There are 10 saloon, 22 second-cabin, and 25 third-cabin passengers for all ports ; also 109J statute adult immigrants for Auckland^ There was one birth and one death on tho passage, The latter was that of a child named Annie Besweil. The vessel will not get away before Wednesday next, but all the southern passengers proceed by the Tarawera to-morrow. The passengers are well pleased with the treatment received. The voyage was remarkably fine.
