THE COUNTY COUNCIL TENDERS.
At a recent meeting pf the County Council, authority was given the Chairman to call for tenders for sections. on tho Mangaone ftoad, lie, Councillor Halcombe, and the Engineer being farther empowered to receive and deal witH the tenders forwarded. They accordingly met ' at the Corporation Office Feuding on Thursday, and depided to reject .all those offered m sections, and Accepted that of Ale? Bell, *t £6 5? percchain, Mr. Bell agreeing to put on all 5-inch tyre drays. The following are the tenders.
