TO THE EDITOH. > Sib, — I wish through the medium of your columns to thank (on behalf of the Manawatu Dramatic Club) Mr Owen for lending piano, chairs, carpet etc. ; Messrs Walton and King and Mr Fisher, for -lending chairs; Mr Deards for lending blankets, and Mr McDowall and Messrs Roe and Green, for finding carts? We are also obliged to others for the loan of various things for "our first performance — but as they are members of the Club themselves it would of course be 'superfluous to thank them. — I am, &c.
