Monday.. In a parcel of alluvial gold from Mata Creek one nugget was foundf weighing 6 ozs. 10 dwts. Small parties have been working there some timel The produce of melted gold from, the' the Moanatairi during the last fortnight amounted to 4,837 ozs. -- ; Tuesday. The Moanaitairi^ Company have paid off some four or five thousand pounds of debt, and have six thousand pounds to the good, as the result of the crushings from; the late find.
