HOKITIKA.

Wednesday. Scarlatina is so prevalent m town that the public schools have been closed until further notice. Two more deaths were reported to-day, and one death has occurred daily for several days past. Chiefly young people are attacked, but the disease m the last two or three cases has been of a more malignant type. The Board of health are now using every precaution to stay the spread of the disease.
