CONTROL OF COLONIES

(Rec. 10.30 a.m.) PARIS, Dec. 29. The President of the Italian Consultative Assembly (Count Sforza), who is visiting Paris, told the Press that' all colonies which were sufficiently developed should be placed under international control, while undeveloped, dependent territories should be ruled by an international consortium. Count Sforza included Italy's colonial empire in his two-point plan.

Asked whether he still favoured the formation of a European Federation, Count Sforza replied that he' hoped it would be possible but he thought the process of establishing the union would be slow because of the present situation in Europe. He was received in Paris by General de Gaulle.
