KIWIS BEAT CARDIFF SCORE EARLY IN GAME (N.Z. Press Association. —Copyright.) (Rec. 12.15 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 26. The New Zealand Army Touring Rugby Team defeated Cardiff by 3-nil today. It was Cardiff's first defeat of the season'. The New Zealanders' try was scored 12 minutes after the start. Proctor from a. lincout started a passing movement, and Argus cut through and sent Kearney-over Cardiff's line. The New Zealand forwards were match winners. Finlay, McPhail, Woolley and Johnston were always prominent.
The match drew 25.000 spectators
