LITTLE THEATRE SOCIETY
. The Little Theatre Society staged in All Saints' Hall on Thursday an evening of one-act plays and an operetta. The first play was. entitled "No Tears for Henry," and was produced by Mrs C. H. Lusk. Those taking part were: Misses I. Nottlefold, D. Floyd, J. Beattie, L. Overbye, and Mrs E. Sharland. The second play, "Love in a Suburb," was produced by Mr E. Sharland, those taking part being: Misses M. Cranston, K. Miller, Mrs K. Nichols, Misses H. Muir, B. Ingles, Mr H. Lock and Mr G. Leo. The personnel of the operetta were: Messrs G Bagnall, C. Cair, E. Sharland, I. Stewart, E. Whitehead, N, Holland, Misses A. MacDonald, T. Mathey, D. Goldsmith, D. Dean, M. O'Connor, P. Knccbone, J. Varcoe and Prudence Lusk. The producer was Miss C. Knccbone. There was a good attendance and _ the proceeds were donated to the All Saints' Parish Memorial Fund. Rev. H. W. Monaghan thanked the society for its efforts and mentioned that the memorial hall would include the most up-to-date stage facilities. The evening closed with a short dance. Musical interludes were supplied by the Little Theatre Orchestra.
