MANAWATU HEADS

(From Our Own Correspondent.) Mrs A. Dando, senr., is spending a holiday with relations in Hamilton. Mr and Mrs T>. Reid have returned from a visit to members of their family in Palmerston North and Feilding. Miss N. Dear has arrived home from the Palmerston North Hospital. Mrs A. G. Thomas has undergone a further operation in the Palmerston North Hospital and is progressing as well as can be expected. Mrs Brereton is confined to the house with an attack of bronchitis. Mr and Mrs Hall, of Feilding, are on holiday here and have Mrs Gray staying with them. The closing in of the shelter adjoining the hall has done away with what was a much appreciated waiting place for many years, both for tennis players and foxpeople requiring shelter while waiting for the hall to open.
