MORE WAR CRIMINALS

14TH LIST OF GERMANS

(Rec. 1.15 p.m.') LONDON, Sept. 27. The I4th list of German war criminals which was officially issued at this week's meeting of the War Crimes Commission contains the names of more than 1000 persons against whom the Commission has found prima facie cases. It also gives full details of the offences with which they are charged. This secret list is immediately placed in the hands of the various military agencies on tho Continent and elsewhere so that all those wanted may be retained in custody, or arrested and held. Eventually these prisoners, as in the case of the thousands already listed by the Commission, will be surrendered to the Governments •• of the United Nations which will try them. |
