MISSING PLANE
(Press Assn.) AUCKLAND, Sept. 26. In spite of extensive searches which have been carried out in the past couple of days, no trace has been found of the Douglas Dakota aircraft of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Transport Comm an/] which lias been missing on a transit flight from Espiritu Santo to Mhenuapai air station since Monday. Nothing is known of the fate of her crew of four and 16 passengers, all of whom are members of the Air Force.
