BOXING

Interest in the Duncan-Collins fight which is to take place in the Palmerston North Opera House oil Monday next at 8 p.in., is growing apace. The booking office opens tomorrow and intending and country patrons are advised to waste no time in getting a good seat. Duncan has bad a number of fights recently and is a tough nut, as all his opponents have found out. Collins’s fight with Hansen will do the local lad a lot of good and so when these two step into tho ring on Monday night they will both bo on top form. Both boys have good experience and Duncan has fought the best in the country at tho present time and feels qnito confident that he will add another win to his belt.- The amateur preliminaries will be up to the usual high standard.
