SINGAPORE RELIEF

LONDON, Sept. 2. A relief party dropped from the air released more than 20,000 Allied prisoners of war and internees from five camps in Singaporo. Members of the team report that so far they have given a preliminary examination to more than 16,000 prisoners of war and internees in four of the 23 camps specially treating the many sick. A special edition of the services newspaper Seac, including a review of the war, is being dropped in the camps. Air mail editions of the Times and the Daily Telegraph are being flown from Britain for the prisoners.
