RIDDING HOMES OF PESTS
(10.25 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Aug. 22. With all controls being lifted from the production of D.D.T. on August 31. sufficient quantities will be available within a month to permit every householder to rid his home of virtually all flies and mosquitoes. A Public' Health Department official said that one spraying a year would possibly be enough for the Northern United States, but three was the ideal for a year’s protection.
