(Rec. 10.55 a.m.) LONDON. Julv 5. Tim' Manx Choir late last night gathered on the lawn of the Isle of Alan Government House and serenaded the King and Queen with old Manx songs. The King and Queen came out. amf stood in the mist to hear the singing an dthen .sent for the conductor The choir rati across the grounds and surrounded Their Alnjestles. It was a night of rejoicing on the island. Their Majesties’ health was drunk after the King had turned on the Victory brew at the island brewery. The King today presided over tbe Tvmvald, the ancient Manx open-air Parliament, on Tynwald Hill. The Kirm said: “Never before lias the King of England been present at this interesting” ceremony.
