EXTRACTS FROM “STANDARD.” JULY 6, 1915.

A great battle was developing for Achibaba, according to a London message. It described the coming action as the meat important since the landing on Gallipoli. Already there had been fierce ground and sea actions. The Kaiser was reported to have stated that the war would bo over by October in favour of Germany. There would bo no winter campaign. Fierce exchanges were taking place between the Vistula and tho Bug and the Russians were resisting fiercely. The Germans and Austrians had suffered terrific losses.
