SALE OF PIGS
The Dominion Auctioneering Coy., Ltd., report conducting a special sale of pigs in their yards on Tuesday on account of Mr K. Currie, of Woodvillo. There was a good attendance of buyers and every pig was sold under keen competition. Quotations : Pedigree Tamworth sows to farrow, 9a to 12igns, averaging lllgns; pedigree Berkshire sows to farrow, 8i to IS gns, averaging shire sows and boars, average sgns.; sows and litters, £l3 13s; pedigree lain-, worth boar. 9jgns ; store pigs. 33s to 435; weaners, 18s to 245; six maiden sows to farrow, on behalf of Mr Vowell, averaged slightly over £ll.
