CHRISTCHURCH, July 4. Amorlad, Immediate, and High Play are 'ncluded in the New Zealand nominations for the Melbourne Cup. Royal Flight was nominated for the Caulfield Cup. She will race on the second day at Trenthani. Valantua’s programme was in doubt till yesterday morning, when his owner decided to send him to Trenthani, and ho went north with the remainder of the Riccarton team. His form has not been encouraging, but bis prospects were not much more favourable when he was taken to the'North Island last year, when he collected £9OO for a win at EP.e.rslie and £9OO for his second placings in the Great Northern and Wellington Steeplechases. Valantua will be ridden by K. Thomson, who has-had the mount on him in all of his jumping races to date.
