GARRISON BAND

A beautiful sunny afternoon on Sunday favoured the Garrison Bund when it presented one of .-its usual bright and popular programmes from the Square rotunda. A large crowd was present. The band, und<M' the baton of Mr J. F. Cosgrovc, piayod the .following numbers: —"Hie King": march, "The North Star"; hymn, ' I'm Praying For You" ; tenor horn solo, "lona." tastefully played by Bandsman K. Thorburn; "Londonderry Air," played as two solos by-- Bandmaster B. Register and BandSman L. Curtis; march, "The Bullfighters" ; Dervish chorus, "In t ftp Soudan" ; waltz, "Destiny' ; song. "Lilli Marlune"; march, "St. Elms": "God of Nations."
