RACING NEWS
Tlio l'oliroment of Mr George Ebbett as one of Iho Hawke’s Bay Jockey Club’s representatives on the Hawke’s Bay District Racing Coniinitteo is announced. Mr Ebbett was first appointed a. representative 25 years ago, and except for one year ho had represented the club continuously since then. In recent years he has been chairman of the District Committee. High tributes were paid by members to Mr Ebbctt’s work.
