ST. PETER’S SCOUTS

Despite threatening weather in the morning Mrs Parkes’s residence m Main Street East presented a happy scene of Saturday afternoon, when St. Peter’s Scouts, under the leadership of Scoutmaster K. Malcolm, held a warden party in aid of funds for their Scout hut. There were numerous competitions and games. The produce stall was in the charge of Mesdames Smith and Kerr; afternoon tea, Mesdames Loekyer and Burrell ; fancy stall, lucky dip ice-cream and solt drinks. Cubmasters A. Bull, N. Burrell and L. Cooke. The Scouts, with the help ol Mr Kerr, kept things moving.
