RAIN AT NEW PLYMOUTH

(Special.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Mar. 7. After a night of continuous rain play in the jubilee bowling tournament did not proceed this morning and "was adjourned till the afternoon. The cessation of the rain after 9 a.m. promised well, but by noon rain was again falling. The adjourned games in the fourth round proceeded, hut soon a drenching downpour caused the fifth and sixth rounds to_ be postponed till tomorrow. Bary's Palmerston North rink beat Cropp (Hawera Park), 26—20.
