NAZIS LEAVE BERLIN
LONDON, Mar. 6. The German Government evacuated during the week-end from Berlin to Berchtesgaden, according to the Stockholm correspondent of the Daily Mail. Any elements of the administration, neutral Press, or diplomatic corps which remain behind are being retained in the ruins of the capital as a camouflage to keep up morale and hoodwink the outside world.
The correspondent says he received the news from one of several Swedish newspapermen who have arrived from Berlin, and who do not intend to return. They say Gauleiter Goebbels is the only well-known Nazi leader nowliving in Berlin.
