(Press Assn.) CHRISTCHURCH. Feb. 7. The Services match which concluded today resulted in a draw, with honours in favour of the northerners. South Island failed narrowly to reach the score of their opponents and were dismissed for 298 runs. A feature of the Southerners’ innings was a grand third wicket partnership between Dryden and James, which realised 125 runs. N. Hoar took 2 wickets for 30 runs.
