Nearly 30 New If Zealand pilots participated and for iT the dav completely destroyed 56 Geris man trains, and 22 aircraft, three ot |1 which were destroyed on the ground Often seven or eight of our aircraft M were engaged with 30 to 40 ft machines. The fights were furious but no ne of our aircraft was lost. The day fd i* reported as an outstanding one in $ the history of the Tempest Squadron.
