BANGKOK AREA RAIDED
(11.15 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Jan. 4. Super-Fortresses attacked Japanese communications in the Bangkok area in Thailand in daylight on Tuesday, says a 20th Air Force communique. Tlie weather was clear over the target and excellent bombing results are reported. Fighter opposition' was weak and flak meagre and inaccurate. All the planes returned without damage.
