It is certainly a credit to the enthusiasm and anxiety to serve you well of our staff members that, after the hectic rush of Thursday's shopping, the principal gift departments—Fancy, Mercery, etc.—were left absolutely ready that evening for the following day's business. Counters and displays were tidied up, and no end of slock brought forward to replace sales, so that, when the doors opened on Friday morning, everything was ready to serve you.
