ENEMY LOSING TRANSPORT

NO BEST IN YUGOSLAVIA. (Bee. 10.50 a.m.) BUGBY, Dec. 21. A German mountain corps, struggling north-eastwards from Podgorica in Yugoslavia, will have to leave behind at least 500 motor vehicles, according to an estimate at Allied Headquarters iu Italy. A correspondent says that although tho leading elements of this German force have managed to join with tho main forces north-east of Podgorica its transport is strung out over many miles and is being pounded by Allied aircraft. The roads are strewn with blazing and blackened motor vehicles and the total in the past two days is 104 vehicles destroyed and 175 damaged.—Official Wireless.
