SABOTAGE IN AMERICA

(Rec. Noon.) WASHINGTON, Dec. 20. The Department of Justice has announced the indictment of Corl Emil ndwig Krepper, formerly a clergyman, charged with violation of the sabotage and censorship statutes. The department said the indictment is a climax to two years of investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation on a clue supplied by one of eight German saboteurs who landed in America from a submarine in June, 1942. Krepper and his wife allegedly conspired with Walter Kappe, director of the Nazi sabotage school in Berlin, to injure, interfere with and obstruct national defence.
