SLAUGHTER IN LITHUANIA

LONDON, Dec. 20. The Germans shot, burned or tortured to death 300,000 peaceful civilians in Lithuania, and put to death about 165,000 Russian prisoners, says the' Moscow radio. These facts are revealed by a State Commission which adds that the Germans ruined the country's economic life .by the destruction of industrial plant, and the slaughter and theft of livel stock.
