For the Veterans' Vase two garnet, have recently been played. Manawatu beat Terrace End and Northern beat Manawatu. The rinks were:—Manawatu : Anderson, Thompson, Coup, Baker (skip) 17 v. Terrace End: Neal, Clinton, Wilson, Fairey (skip) ,15. Northern : Blackmore, Eliot, Roulston, Rainforth (skip) 20 v. Manawatu : Anderson, Thompson, Coup, Bates (skip) 11. Takaro arc the next challengers.
