GREYHOUND CLUB

At a meeting of greyhound enthusiasts, held for the purpose of forming a „cluh in Palmerston North, an address was given by Mr H. Kay, of Hastings, secretary of the North Island Greyhound Association. He dealt with club rules and also explained council and conference matters and remits.. Questions were answered to the satisfaction of the audience. Mr Kay explained the necessary equipment required and estimated it to cost £IOO or more. Mr King moved that a greyhound club be formed. This was seconded by Mr F. Hodgson and carried. It was resolved also that members arrange for a meeting to be held about the middle of January, to form a committee, and to start the club. Mr Cartwright, of Ashburst, moved a vote of appreciation to Mr Kay.
