PARCELS FOR PRISONERS
LONDON, Nov. 30. A full stream of prisoner-of-war parcels is now going forward again to Geneva. In addition to those being routed via Lisbon and Marseilles home are going via Gothenburg. It is not yet known, however, whether they are being distributed as formerly in Germany. It is considered that the dislocation of German communications by R.A.F. bombing probably had some effect in holding up parcels. It is also not at present known whether the Germans are again distributing parcels to camps weekly instead of fortnightly as was recently the ease. Cigarette parcels i are now going forward regularly again to Geneva from England and English firms are again accepting orders. It is reported that a parcel of clothing which left New Zealand in June _ reached its. destination in- Germany in October. Vhis was particularly quick transit and it seems likely that the parcel was forwarded via New York in a ship which took repatriated German prisoners to Gothenburg.
