MAGISTRATE'S COURT

Before Mr H. P. Lawry, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court, R. C. Clapham, labourer, aged 20, of Petone, was charged with being deemed to be idle and disorderly in that ■.- he had insufficient lawful means of support. He pleaded guilty. Detective Long gave evidence of accused's movements. Accused was sentenced to bo detained in a Borstal institution for a year.
