SATURATION ATTACK

GERMAN SHIPS HIT. (Roc. 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 7. Flying over 350 miles from their base New Zealand and Australian Beaufighters of the Coastal Command last night launched a saturation attack against enemy shipping off Bremen roadstead, says the Air Ministry News Service. The Beaufighters pounced on four merchant vessels which were forming "up with seven minesweepers . and an auxiliary vessel of the trawler .".
