PATRIOTIC SHOP
All Saints’ parish had the patriotic shop last week (conveners, Mrs W. J. Phillips and Miss 11. Warren). All Saints Mothers’ Union had chargo for the first day. Receipts were £93. Cash donations are acknowledged as follows: —Mesdamcs S. H. Poole, 10s; Autridge, 3s; D. Santos, ss; Gosling, ss; T. R. Lees, 10s; Clegg, ss; Simmons, 10s; Whitcombc, £1; Spencer, 2s; Runniclcs, ss; Richardson, 10s; ’I euion, ss; A Friend, ss; Miss McGregor, ss; Miss Whyte, £1; A Friend 14s. Prizes for competitions were donated by Firs C., 11. Handler, Miss G. Cameron, Mrs G. llagnal, Mrs A. E. Russell, “Anonymous, organising helpers. Firs N. Blackmorc, Fliss Floyd, Firs 11. F. Fowler, Firs Wallace Cook, and business firms, lho First Church of Christ, Scientist, has the first three davs this week, the Y.W.C.A. taking the latter part. Mrs K. McDonald is visitor for the shop committee. A late donation of £5 frpm Mrs U. D. Knight to St. Andrew’s and St. 'David’s Ladies Guilds effort brings their total to £65.
