A.N.A. CLUB
Tho Girl Guides’ Association took control of the A.N.A. Canteen during tho week-end when 126 teas and nine suppers were served. The club-room looked bright with its pretty floral decorations in autumn tonings Mesdames G. Dearlove, A. Grigor and F. Penman acted as hostesses and members of the Girls’ Music Club afforded enjoyment with popular
numbers. The dance committee’s entertainments drew averngo attendances. The bosteases were Mcsdames B. C. Dickson, R. Joblin, Misses K. Garner and E. Bosworth, and they wore assisted in theii duties by Messrs A. Smith and J. B. San--1 key. The winners of tho Monte Carlo lon Saturday night were Miss B. Dixon,, and Corporal J. T. Herbert, and the rnedIcy was won by Lance-Corporal D. Thompson and Private T. Tanner. Those in charge of the soft drinks wore Mrs L. Hale, Misses K. Thompson and Miss R. I whyto and the games wore conducted by I Miss V. Royal. A donation of food was acknowledged from Messrs Collinson and. i Curffiinghnmc, . Ltd. Duty in the lounge 1 was taken by Misses C. Gillies, R. Jensen and D. Foster.
