ANZAC DAY SERVICE

Anzac Day will be celebrated in Palmerston North by the conducting of a public service at the Showgrounds on Tuesday afternoon. The service, which will be preceded by a parade of a military nature, is timed to commence at 2.45 p.m. The officiating speaker will be Rev. A. R. Anderson, C.F., who recently returned to New Zealand following overseas service with the. 2nd. N.Z.E.F. The usual silvoi collection will be taken at the service in aid of the local R.S.A. soldiers' graves fund. Should the weather be unfavourable, the service will be held i" the Opera House.
