JAPANESE SHIPS
FIFTEEN SUNK U.S. SUBMARINES' WORK LONDON, April 18. A Washington report says that ' American submarines have sunk 15 Jar.anese ships in the Pacific, including three tankers, a repair ship, and seven cargo vessels.
Allied aircraft have carried out further raids on the Marshall and Caroline Islands. The Japanese base at Rabaul lias been heavily bombed.
