Mrs H. Hills, of Dahlia Street, who lias been spending a holiday at Foxton Beach, has returned home.
Mr and Mrs A. Clark, who have been staying at Foxtcu Beach, have returned to their home in Ehnira Avenue.
Mr and Mrs Mervyn L. Daleficld, after spending a holiday with Mr and Mrs G. F. Dalefielcl, senr., "Torthorwald", Kairanga, have gone to New Plymouth. They will stay a short time with Mr and Mrs Arthur Parsons there before returning to their home at Northcote, Auckland. Girls in Britain who joined the A.T.S. in 1939 are now receiving forms asking them if they will sign on "for the duration". The reason for this is that when they joined the service they signed on lor four years. They are now free to leave it' they wish, but the Ministry of Labour may claim them for work in factories. Wrens and Waal's who joined in 1939 arc being similarly circularised.
