New York. —The Now York Timci? correspondent at. a Central Pacific naval air station says that naval authorities are of the opinion that new secret techniques being developed in the Pacific, employing devices of which, it ie believed tho enemy is not aware, will tremendously affect tho outcome of the Pacific war. Powered by real .steam is a true-to-scalc miniature locomotive which is being displayed for a few days in Collinson and Cunninghame's No. 2 display window. So perfectly has it been made that the boiler can stand a steam pressure of 901 bto the square inch; and it has to be stoked with real coal.
