RAID ON FORMOSA
(Rcc. 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, Jan. 12 ' The Japanese News Agency announced that enemy bombers attacked the neighbourhood of Takeo in South-West Formosa, and Tamsui, in the north-west of the island. The agency claimed that the damage was negligible. American and Chinese planes first raided Formosa on November 25.
Formosa is 90 miles frpm the southeast coast of China and about 1200 miles from Tokio. Tho island has a population of 5,000,000;
