The death occurred at Guy's Hospital, London, on December 11, of Mrs Margery Helen Wilson, 0.8. E., wife of Mr Ormond Wilson, of Bulls, New Zealand. Mrs Wilson, who was for many years connected with the British Broadcasting Corporation, was married at Ardingley, Sussex, in 1940, to Mr Ormond Wilsoff, M.A. (Oxon), a great-grandson of the late Sir J. G. Wilson. After taking her degree at Oxford, Mrs Wilson joined the 8.8. C. 10 years ago, where she handled broadcasting and administrative duties, and later was appointed a director. She was at one time secretary to Gilbert Murray, the British classicist, translator, and international publicist. Her husband, who was Labour member for Rangitikei from 1935 to 1938, also joined the 8.8. C. at the beginning of the war, after completing a European tour, first working as a broadcaster and later as a member of the administrative staff. Mrs Wilson leaves a two-year-old daughter. Her husband is still in England.
