Before Messrs J. R. Ilardie and J. T. Bosworth, J.P.'s, in tho Magistrate's Court, Ronald Ernest Johnson, aged 35 years, a photographer, was charged with escaping from a detention camp. Algernon James Kennington Johnson, a storeman, aged 40 years, faced charges of being idle and disorderly and having no' means of support, and of stealing a bicycle, valued at £l6 10s,- the property of \V. J. Tucker. Both were remanded till next Monday.
