DELEG ATI ON' S MISSION

(Rec. 1.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, Jan. 13. The New Zealand Ministerial delegation, headed by Mr Eraser, which will discuss post-war Pacific problems with the Commonwealth Government, will arrive in Sydney to-day. The party will remain in Sydney until Saturday and the conference with the Australian Government will begin at Canberra on Monday. The subjects for discussion include the future policies of Australia and New Zealand in relation to the South-West and South Pacific regions, post-war security zones. including the government of the islands taken from the Japanese, the welfare of the native peoples, communications, and closer collaboration and trade relations between the two countries. The Australian Labour Party will hold a special meeting at Canberra to coincide with the visit of the New Zealand delegation, and the formation' of a British Empire Labour Party will be discussed. The meeting will also consider sending a joint deputation to the Imperial Labour Conference which the British Labour Party is anxious to rvmvcne to discuss post-war problems.
