BUS DRIVERS' DEMAND
(Press Assn) WELLINGTON, Jan. 13 The railway bus services on the Wellington-Hutt and Wellington-Ngaio-Khaiultillah routes will be affected by the decision of the Petone motor service branch of the A.S.R.S. not to operate the buses on Sundays. The' branch states that at a special meeting held at midnight on Tuesday the drivers decided not to work on Sundays till they are granted double rates of pay, bringing them into line with the remainder of the railway servants. The Railway Department declined to make any 'statement when interviewed about the matter to-day.
